Loose fiber optic cable, with corrugated steel tape metallic armour, PE (Polyethylene) outer jacket, 250μm fiber primary coating, longitudinal and transverse water-penetration resistant. The corrugated steel armour offers a high mechanical protection against rodents and compressive stresses. Optical fibers are kept together inside a thermoplastic tube filled with water-blocking gel to prevent moisture penetration.

Applications and performance |
Cable suitable for the realization of cabling systems for outdoor use according to EN 50173, ISO/IEC 11801 norms. Depending on the type of fiber and on the length of the link, they are suitable for the realization of transmission channels up to and exceeding 10GbE. Ideal for laying in pipes or ducts for the realization of outdoor backbones connecting buildings in locations where a good water and rodent resistance is needed.
