The QPM optical power meter (cod. 2040430) is a next-generation portable instrument designed for accurate power and attenuation measurements on fiber optic networks. Equipped with a high-performance InGaAs sensor, it offers high accuracy and supports the 6 standard calibration wavelengths in the industry.
Key Features
- Automatic wavelength recognition (TWIN function): in combination with the Qubix QLS-QUAD stabilized laser source, the instrument automatically recognizes the transmitted wavelength. This simplifies operator workflow and eliminates potential manual selection errors;
- Frequency detection (modulation tones): automatically identifies network modulated tones at 270 Hz, 330 Hz, 1 kHz, and 2 kHz;
- Reference level setting (REF): allows setting and storing a reference value for direct reading of link loss/attenuation in dB;
- Internal memory and data management: enables saving up to 1.000 measurements directly via the instrument keypads. Stored data can be downloaded to a PC via USB port for test report generation (in CSV format);
- Backlit LCD display: clear interface with simultaneous display of power, wavelength, frequency, and battery status, ideal also for dark environments;
- Power management and charging: Auto-off function for energy saving and integrated Type-C port for charging and PC connection to download data.
